What is a Password?
A Password is a code that helps protect your accounts when accessing and using our Internet Banking services. Alongside your unique Member number, it’s the key piece of information you need to access Internet Banking and bank online.
Why is my Access Code for Internet Banking now called a Password?
Members have told us the terminology ‘Access Code’ is confusing and should be changed to ‘Password’ to align to the language used by other organisations.
Do I need to change my current Access Code?
No, nothing changes. Your code to log in to Internet Banking will remain the same.
Where is my Password?
When you become a member of our bank, you will receive a welcome email that includes your member number. We will also send a temporary Password to your mobile via SMS.
You will be automatically registered for Internet Banking. However, you will need to activate Internet Banking by logging in with your member number and the temporary Password. You can then set your own preferred Password.
Can I change my Password?
Of course! If you want to change your Password to something more memorable, you can do this yourself in Internet Banking.
Log in to Internet Banking, go to My Settings, select Change Password and follow the on-screen prompts to create your new code.
