Eligible Customer offer to receive a $200 True Rewards eGift Card when they purchase an Eligible Policy
Terms & Conditions
1. Information on how to claim and the Offer (defined below) form part of these Terms and Conditions. If you choose to participate in the Offer by using the Promo Code (defined below), you accept these Terms and Conditions. The Offer is not valid in conjunction with any other offer.
2. The promoter for the Offer is Teachers Mutual Bank Limited ABN 30 087 650 459 AFSL and Australian Credit Licence No. 238981, of 28-38 Powell Street, Homebush NSW 2140, phone no. 13 12 21 (the “Bank” or the “Promoter”).
3. The Offer is for one (1) $200 eGift card made available by True Rewards Pty Ltd ABN 80 632 364 759 through its website www.truerewards.com.au (“Offer”).
4.The Offer is available from 11:59PM AEST Tuesday 28/05/2024 and closes at 11:00PM AEST Wednesday 28/05/2025 (“Offer Period”).
5. For a person to be eligible for the Offer the following conditions must be met:
- the person must receive an email from the Promoter (“Marketing Material”) inviting them to participate in the Offer (an “Eligible Customer”), which provides them with a promotional code (the “Promo Code”);
- each Promo Code applies only to qualifying policies as are specified in the Marketing Material (each an “Eligible Policy”);
- the Eligible Customer must use the Promo Code when purchasing a new Eligible Policy issued by Allianz Australia Insurance Limited ABN 15 000 122 850 AFSL (“Allianz” or the “Issuer”) online through the Promoter, during the Offer Period;
- the Eligible Customer must be a member of Teachers Mutual Bank, Firefighters Mutual Bank, Health Professionals Bank or UniBank (where eligible) and provide the Promoter with a valid email address;
- Allianz must receive full payment of the annual policy premium for the Eligible Policy, or the first instalment of premium, if paying by the month;
- the start date of the Eligible Policy must occur during the Offer Period;
- the Eligible Policy must not be lapsed or cancelled at the time the eGift cards are distributed, which will be within 90 days from the start date of the Eligible Policy; and
- the policyholder must be an Australian resident aged 18 years or over.
6. Replacements, variations and renewals of, or in additions to, existing policies are excluded from the Offer.
7. Claiming of multiple Offers is permitted, subject to one (1) Offer per Eligible Policy. If a policy has two (2) or more policy holders, only the first policy holder named on the policy schedule will be awarded the Offer.
8. The name and email address of each Eligible Customer will be processed by the Promoter on True Rewards Pty Ltd’s platform and the eGift card will be electronically sent to that Eligible Customer’s email address. If you do not wish to receive the eGift card, please advise the Promoter by phone.
9. The eGift card will be sent to the valid email address provided by the Eligible Customer within 90 days of the start date of an Eligible Policy. The Eligible Customer is responsible for redeeming the Offer before the expiry date for activation.
10. The eGift cards can be redeemed online or in-store depending on the applicable retailer. Terms and conditions of the applicable retailer will apply to the redeemed card. Please see website https://truerewards.com.au/terms-and-conditions. The Offer is not refundable or redeemable for cash and expired Offers cannot be extended or replaced. Redemption of the Offer is managed by True Rewards Pty Ltd ABN 80 632 364 759. For more information and terms, go to www.truerewards.com.au. Any ancillary costs to you associated with redeeming a card are not included in the Offer. Any unused balance of a card will not be awarded as cash.
11. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the identity and eligibility of each Eligible Customer, and reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any person who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these Terms and Conditions, tampered with the claim process, or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise fair and proper conduct of this Offer. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. The Promoter's legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.
12. If there is a dispute, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to make a reasonable determination. The Promoter’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
13. Eligible Customers will be notified by email.
14. If there is incomplete information (including where an email address provided is invalid) an Eligible Policy will not be eligible for the Offer.
15. If an Eligible Customer does not redeem an Offer at the time stipulated by the Promoter, then the Offer (or that element of the Offer) will be forfeited.
16. If any Offer (or part of any Offer) is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the Offer (or that part of the Offer) with an offer to the equal value and/or specification.
17. Offers, or any unused portion of an Offer, are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash, unless otherwise specified.
18. If this Offer is not capable of being conducted as anticipated due to reasons beyond the control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to modify, suspend, terminate, or cancel the Offer, as appropriate in the circumstances.
19. If you are an Eligible Customer, you consent to the Promoter using your name, likeness, image and/or voice (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this Offer (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter. You may withdraw this consent by contacting the Promoter by phone before your name, likeness, image and/or voice is used by the Promoter.
20. Liability for any tax (other than FBT) arising out of participation in this promotion (including acceptance of a prize) is the sole responsibility of the entrant. Entrants should seek independent financial advice in this regard.
21. The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the Offer and may, for this purpose, disclose such personal information to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, prize suppliers and, as required, to Australian regulatory authorities. Depending on our commercial arrangements, we may disclose personal information about you to business partners with operations overseas or who store personal information overseas. Entry is conditional on providing this personal information. In addition to any use that may be outlined in the Promoter’s Privacy Policy, the Promoter may, unless otherwise advised by you, use the personal information for the purpose of conducting this Offer, promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes and sending electronic messages, offers and information to each Eligible Customer.

22. Nothing in these terms and conditions limits, excludes or modifies or purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act, as well as any other implied warranties under the Australian Securities and Investments Commission Act or similar consumer protection laws in the States and Territories of Australia (“Non-Excludable Guarantees”). To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter’s liability arising from or in connection with this Offer, including for a breach of a Non-Excludable Guarantee, is limited to: (a) in the case of goods, any one or more of the replacement of the goods or the supply of equivalent goods, the repair of the goods, the payment of the cost of replacing the goods or acquiring equivalent goods or the payment of the cost of having the goods repaired; or (b) in the case of services, the supplying of the services again or the payment of the cost of having the services supplied again.
